Privacy Policy

Who this applies to
This policy covers visitors to the site and people who contact me, book a session, attend an event, sign up for the newsletter, or otherwise share information with me through the site. My services are intended for adults. The site is not directed to children, and I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Information I collect
Information you give me
When you fill out the contact or booking form, sign up for the newsletter, or email me, you may share your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you choose to tell me about your situation in your message. When you book or pay for a session, event, or other service, you provide the details needed to schedule and complete that transaction.
Payment information
Payments are handled by third-party payment processors: Stripe, Paypal and Square. I do not collect or store your full card number on the site. The processor handles your payment details under its own privacy and security terms.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the site may collect limited technical information automatically, such as your device type, browser, general location (city or region), pages viewed, and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies and through analytics tools. See “Cookies and analytics” below.
I do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what you voluntarily share with me in the course of seeking or receiving services.
How I use your information
I use the information I collect to:
- Respond to your message and talk with you about whether and how I can help.
- Schedule, provide, and follow up on sessions, events, and other services.
- Process payments and keep basic records for accounting and tax purposes.
- Send the newsletter and occasional updates, if you have signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Maintain, understand, and improve the site.
- Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
How information is shared
I share information only as needed to run the practice, and only with:
- Service providers who help me operate, such as my scheduling tool, email and newsletter platform, payment processor, and website host. These providers may access information only to perform their work for me, under their own privacy commitments.
- Legal and safety reasons, if I am required to by law, or if I believe in good faith that sharing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or to protect someone’s safety.
Beyond that, what you share with me about your life and your losses stays with me. I treat the substance of our conversations as confidential.
Cookies and analytics
The site may use cookies and similar technologies to help the site function and to understand how visitors use it. I may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool, like Google Analytics, to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how people find the site.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Turning cookies off may affect how some parts of the site work. If the site uses any tools that require a cookie banner or consent under the laws that apply to you, that banner will appear when you visit.
How long I keep information
I keep your information for as long as I need it to provide services, stay in touch if you have asked me to, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When I no longer need it, I take reasonable steps to delete it or remove what identifies you. You can ask me to delete your information sooner (see below).
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Ask what information I have about you, and ask me to correct it.
- Ask me to delete your information, subject to records I am required to keep.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, using the link in any newsletter email or by emailing me.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or limit certain uses of your information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make any of these requests, email me at [email protected] and I will respond within the time your local law requires.
Children’s privacy
My services are for adults, and the site is not intended for children. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided me with personal information, please contact me at [email protected] and I will delete it.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect the information I hold, and I work with service providers who do the same. No website or method of transmission is perfectly secure, so I cannot promise absolute security, but I treat your information with care.
Links to other sites
The site may link to other websites, such as a booking tool or a venue’s page. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of sites I do not control. Please review their policies when you visit them.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will change the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, I will make a reasonable effort to note it on the site. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
